How To Choose A Oil Fired Steam Boiler? How To Match The Three Major Parameters Of Evaporation Capacity, Pressure And Fuel?

When choosing a Oil Fired Steam Boiler, the three parameters of evaporation capacity, working pressure and fuel type should be determined in combination with the actual steam demand. Let's talk about evaporation capacity first, which refers to how many tons of steam the boiler can produce per hour. You have to calculate your steam consumption first, such as how much steam is needed in the factory to steam buns, boil water and drive machines. If you use 2 tons of steam per hour on average, considering that the consumption may increase during peak hours or the efficiency of the boiler will decrease after a long time of use, it is best to choose a model with an evaporation capacity of about 3 tons, leaving some margin to be sufficient.
The working pressure depends on the purpose of the steam. If the steam is only used for heating and drying clothes, the pressure does not need to be too high, 0.8-1.2 MPa is enough; but if it is used for chemical reactors and autoclaves, the pressure must be raised to more than 1.6 MPa. When choosing, the rated working pressure of the boiler should be 0.2-0.3 MPa higher than the actual required pressure, because there will be pressure loss in the pipeline from the boiler to the steam-using equipment. But don't choose too high, the higher the pressure, the higher the cost of the boiler, and it also wastes fuel.
The fuel type mainly depends on the choice of diesel and heavy oil. Diesel boilers start quickly and do not need to heat fuel. They are suitable for small boilers or scenes that require frequent start and stop, such as hospitals and hotels, but diesel is expensive and the operating cost is expensive. Heavy oil has a high calorific value and is cheap, which is suitable for long-term operation in large factories. However, heavy oil has a high viscosity and must be heated to 60-80℃ before it can burn normally. The boiler must be equipped with fuel heating and filtering devices, which is more troublesome to maintain.
After these three parameters are determined, look at the thermal efficiency of the Oil Fired Steam Boiler (the higher the more fuel is saved), the floor area (choose a vertical boiler if the site is small), and the degree of automation (whether to automatically add water and adjust the fire), and basically you can choose the right model.
