What Are The Requirements For The Installation Of Powder Tanks At Asphalt Plants

Dec 03, 2025 Leave a message

The installation of the Powder Tank must strictly comply with safety regulations and technical standards to ensure stable equipment operation. Firstly, the foundation construction must meet requirements: the site should avoid low-lying and waterlogged areas, the foundation bearing capacity must match the tank's own weight and the stored material weight, and the concrete must be cured to the specified strength after pouring to prevent settlement and deformation later.
Before installation, inspect the external condition of the Powder Tank to confirm no deformation, damage, and intact seals. Professional equipment is required for hoisting; control the lifting speed and angle to avoid collision damage to the tank. After hoisting in place, fix the supports promptly to ensure the levelness error is within the allowable range.
When connecting pipelines, ensure tight sealing of interfaces with no leakage. The installation of feeding pipes, discharging pipes, and safety valve pipelines must comply with design requirements, and valves should operate flexibly. Electrical equipment installation requires reliable grounding; explosion-proof electrical components must be used in explosive areas to avoid safety hazards caused by static electricity or sparks.
After installation, conduct a tightness test and no-load trial operation to check the operating status of all components. Put the Powder Tank into use only after confirming no abnormalities. Meanwhile, keep detailed records during installation for future maintenance and traceability. All operations must be performed by professional personnel, strictly adhering to on-site safety management regulations.
