What preparations should be made before using the Asphalt Tank for the first time

Asphalt Tanks are key equipment in the fields of road construction, waterproofing engineering, etc., and adequate preparation before the first use can ensure its safe and stable operation and extend its service life.
Appearance inspection is the basis. Carefully check the surface of the asphalt tank to see if there are dents, cracks or peeling of the coating. These defects may affect the strength and thermal insulation performance of the tank. Check the welding parts to ensure that the welds are uniform, free of pores and slag inclusions to prevent leakage in the later stage.
Component debugging is essential. For the heating system, check whether the heat transfer oil pipeline is tightly connected and whether the valve switch is flexible to ensure that there is no leakage during the heating process. Start the heating device and test the temperature control function to ensure that the asphalt temperature can be accurately adjusted. For the mixing system, check whether the motor is running normally, whether the mixing blades are loose or deformed, run it without load for a period of time, and observe whether the mixing is stable and whether there is any abnormal sound.
Safety protection must be in place. Install monitoring instruments such as pressure gauges and thermometers, and calibrate their accuracy to grasp the situation in the tank in real time. Set up fire prevention and scald prevention warning signs around the asphalt tank body, equip it with sufficient fire-fighting equipment, such as dry powder fire extinguishers, fire sand, etc., and plan emergency evacuation routes.
