Waste Heat Steam Boiler

A Waste Heat Steam Boiler is a device that makes efficient use of Waste Heat generated in industrial production or other energy conversion processes to heat water and produce Steam. By capturing waste heat that would otherwise be emitted into the atmosphere, such as heat from industrial furnaces, gas turbine exhaust, incinerator flue gas, etc., it enables the secondary utilization of energy, thereby improving overall energy efficiency, reducing energy waste, and helping to reduce environmental pollution.

Waste Heat Steam Boiler Working principle:

The Waste Heat Steam Boiler is usually installed in the exhaust gas discharge channel, which makes use of the waste heat. The heat source can be high temperature flue gas, waste steam, hot water, or other forms of waste heat.

Heat exchange: These heat sources flow through the heat exchanger part of the boiler, transferring heat to the water circulating inside. The heat exchanger consists of a number of parts, such as economizer, evaporator, superheater, etc., each part is responsible for a different heating stage, from preheating, evaporation to producing superheated steam.

Water cycle: The carefully designed circulation path of water in the Waste Heat Steam Boiler system, generally starting from the drum (or called the drum), entering the heating surface of the heat exchanger through the down tube, absorbing heat into steam, and then returning to the drum through the up tube, forming a natural cycle or forced cycle.

Steam generation: As water absorbs enough heat, it is gradually transformed into saturated steam, and further heating can produce superheated steam to meet the needs of different industrial applications, such as driving steam turbines to generate electricity, providing steam for industrial production, or for heating systems.
